NQ Dry Tropics Natural Resource Management - NQDT NRM
NQ Dry Tropics is a community based, not-for-profit company established in 2002 to deliver on-ground Natural Resource Management (NRM) and enhance the community's involvement in those activities throughout the Burdekin Region. NQ Dry Tropics work closely with BBIFMAC and provide funding for several current projects.
ACTFR
The Australian Centre for Tropical Freshwater Research is a research and consultancy centre, established in 1987 to promote water research, technology and information transfer to industry and government agencies. ACTFR have a close association with BBIFMAC. They run an event based water quality monitoring project across the Burdekin, and also analyse water samples for the WQ Pixel Project as part of the quality control.
BSES
BSES Limited is the principal provider of research, development and extension to the Australian sugar industry. Formed in 1900, BSES has a long history of applying good science to problems facing sugarcane production, and developing effective solutions that benefit the whole industry. Today, we work closely with Australian sugarcane growers, millers, harvest contractors and government to find ways to make sugarcane production more profitable and environmentally sustainable.

Queensland Water and Land Carers
Queensland Water and Land Carers (QWaLC) is the peak body for natural resource management (NRM) volunteers. QWaLC's roles include representation, advocacy, promotion, networking and insurance administration. QWaLC's board includes representatives from each of Queensland's regions. Their membership consists of over 300 groups and 20,000 individuals.

Marine Coastal Community Network (MCCN) help build community, industry and government support for marine and coastal biodiversity, conservation and sustainable use of natural resources. MCCN is a not for profit network with a national focus.

The Sugar Research and Development Corporation works in partnership with the Australian sugarcane industry and the Australian Government to foster an innovative and sustainable sugarcane industry, through targeted investment in research and development.
